Me with my "grams"

One of the exceptionally rare photos I have with my grandma that raised me, since she, or I, was always the one behind the camera.

About

MY WHY:

When the woman that raised me (my grandmother) passed away, no one wanted her costume jewelry. I couldn't wear it because I’m allergic to a lot of metals, but I couldn't let them be thrown out. I HAD to do something to cherish the things she wore. So I tried something different and transformed them into art that I could see and touch every day. In doing so, I found purpose — and healing.

What began as a way to hold onto her memory quickly became something I loved doing. It turns out breathing new life into old things is not only meaningful, but also brings joy to my life, and I’m not half bad at it either!

MY VINTAGE JEWELRY ART PIECES:

To me, there’s beauty in keeping what’s well-built and honoring it by giving it a second chance. That is why my mission is “taking the old and making it new again” whenever I can. Every creation becomes a reminder of legacy and love.

Now some art pieces may have missing stones, scratched paint, etc. but that just adds to the charm and uniqueness of each well-used and well-loved pieces of jewelry. I also love adding little touches to many of my art pieces, like angels to watch over you, a whimsical piece to remind you to never lose your inner child, or spiritual symbols to remind you to have hope and faith in yourself. Lots of love is being sent your way in each of my art pieces.

One of my favorite things is working with families who bring me their loved one’s jewelry. Together, we create something meaningful they can see and touch every day. It’s a beautiful way to honor a loved one instead of leaving those treasures tucked away in a box.

MY PHOTOGRAPHY:

There is beauty in the simple moments of life, if we just slow down enough to notice it — in trees, flowers, nature, sunrises and sunsets, architecture, and life itself. Through my photography, I capture the intricacies of everyday wonders. I try to capture those moments the way I see them, and share them so that others can pause, smile, appreciate life’s little details, and maybe even see the world a little differently too.
